Oak Mirrors
A mirror is something we all take for granted, forgetting that it is a piece of oak furniture in it's own right. Variations are almost endless with frame options, glass options, size and intended use.
Apart from the obvious function, a well placed mirror is able to transfer borrowed light to a room, and to give the impression of perceived space in a small area, adding reflected depth.
The floor standing Cheval mirror for instance is a full length dressing mirror, free standing with an adjustable angle of view. Top rails are fitted to match their particular range of oak bedroom furniture, and might be plain or corniced.
Over-Mantle mirrors are also fitted with a matching top rail and are usually hung in landscape mode.
The humble Wall mirror is often added to a room purely for decoration in either landscape or portrait mode. The choice of oak frames is endless, ranging from plain and slim to extra wide contoured and rebated versions.
No dressing table would be complete without a free standing Vanity or Trinket mirror. These oak framed mirrors are available as a single swivel model where the optimum angle is set by the user, or as a triple hinged model with three viewing aspects. The oak frames are either plain, rebated or include top rails, according to the range they are featured in.
In all cases, the frames are fitted with high quality bevelled or plain glass.
